FireWaterWood: portrays a former treeplanter's meditation on the environmentalism of reforestation, told through the personal and political tales of forestry workers. A journey through Northern British Columbia starts with the tale of drunk sex with a lover, then moves to the nefarious practices of timber corportation Agrium U.S., to the story of a refugee sherpa, tortured by Soviets during the invasion of Afghanistan, now planting trees. These stories ask us to consider the violence people perpetrate upon each other and the forest.
