On Hypochondria

ON HYPOCHONDRIA is an experimental documentary which realizes the failure of our modern medical practices. Computerized voice-overs along with personal journals and impersonal objects convey the disassociation and feeling of tragedy/comedy of a health seeker who becomes the victim rather than the beneficiary of health treatments. Within our modern health care patients become objects of utilization. Those who do not fit within the recognized categories may be considered hypochondriacs.
