Instead of Prisons: Stanford Univ.prison Experiment:instead Of Prisons

A documentation of a 1971 experiment of the Stanford University Psychology Department. Twenty-five male student volunteers were arbitrarily divided into two groups. Within the confines of a simulated prison block, the students assumed the roles of either prisoners or prison guards. The experiment had to be called off after only six days because the students could no longer make the distinction between role playing and reality.
