Living With Elephants

In this tape there are multiple conversations which occured over a three year gap with a womyn, Penny Chalmers, who talks about being the child/adult of alcoholic parents. The video breaks the conventional documentary format in order to shift the power dynamic between subject, audience and videomaker. The result is not only an exploration of friendship over time but of Penny s growing articulation of herself.
