Midnight Studio Rambles #2 (one location- one cut)

Physical architecture as it appears in this work suggests the ever-changing nature of objects, instilled as they often tend to be with an in-built instability, susceptible to decay and destruction, bound to ultimately exist as fragment. What we see in these videos is the Ôafterlife of these discarded fragments, as despite unfitness for further use, this material nonetheless does tend to hang around in the present as a kind of residue or marker of the past. Given that a proclivity for perpetual decay seems the preferred state for objects of use, one is tempted to surmise that the material reality that greets the eye is very seldom that which the hand finds upon closer inspection.
