Mirage Raft (The Dream Talking Oyster)

Mirage Raft (the Dream Talking Oyster) seeks an empathy between the oyster and the queer body that are both present and absent in the diaspora memory.
Through an acoustic device, I transferred the texture of the oyster shell into sounds that became scores for the body movements to achieve a bodily resonance, where my body and the oyster became interdependent.
Through this work, I want to explore how the eastern Asian diasporic movements can nurture a kinship beyond the conventional narratives to be with the land, the water, and the Earthly ecology.
