Mother - Rhythm is an experimental video-art documentary in which the artist performs in a multitude of styles in order to meet her mother in an ahistorical dimension. Disparate narrative conventions are deployed for the artist to reach this non-place. Through historical photographs, miniature diaoramas, and performative intervention, Fini invites the viewer into an intimate and epic journey through a transformative, maternal love.
