Old Dresses

An autobiographical narrative which emphasizes the process of transforming experience into memory. It examines how through time embellishment, forgetfullness, and change of character, memory is transformed into a kind of fictional fantasy. My intent was not to recreate the past as it was, but rather to show it now live in the character s mind. In its meditated form the experience is only partial read as autobiography, and primarily as narrative fiction.
