  • Two women recall painful early memories of abuse. Jean Burgess explores her incest experiences though paintings and personal stories. She began drawing her memories in an attempt to give them physical presence in her life. While pursuing those elusive memories, her style developed from child-like drawings to complex archetypical renderings. Boschman, the producer/editor of the tape, claims her childhood was Ònormal . ÒAll kids get beaten up, don t they? A rhythm develops in the tape, between stories, drawings, and photos, punctuated by short moments of black.
