Painted Gold

In the wild west, two estranged lovers are brought together after many years over many miles to duke it out over a gold treasure. Before we find out the treasure is not worth the emotional sacrifice, it’s too late. Their selfish romance will be remembered in the musical stylings of a folk storyteller. Recalling the 60’s Hollywood folk duets sung by straight pairings such as Nancy & Lee, Painted Gold infiltrates the conservative heterosexual western with a queer romance starring a drag queen and her lover boy.
