Video Out

We accept submissions on an ongoing basis. Unsolicited submissions are viewed by a Distribution Selection Committee each quarter.

Please mail or drop off submissions on DVD to Video Out Distribution with the following materials:

Please label DVDs clearly and identify the title you want considered for distribution and the to you want viewed as supplementary material.

For the title under consideration we require a clear TITLE, YEAR completed, DURATION, COUNTRY Completed and a 2-3 line synopsis of the video and list any screenings, broadcast or other distribution agreements this title has had.

We also require a CV or Detailed Biography and your full postal address, email address and phone number.

We are not able to return submissions unless you include a SASE with postage paid.

Please submit only one title at a time for distribution consideration. We will contact you by email after the selection committee makes its decision.

Video Out Distribution has a mandate to promote Canadian media art but we also maintain a 10-15 % International ratio in our collection. All submissions will be considered for inclusion in the Video Out Collection. This is one of the largest collections in Western Canada and was established in 1973.
